We use Electret Ion Chambers (E-Perm). This is the most accurate way to test for radon short term. A short term test must run for at least 48 hours.  Except for normal entry and exit, doors and windows must be closed 12 hours prior to testing and for the duration of the testing process.

Long term testing is the MOST accurate way to test for radon. The test must run for at least 91 days and no longer than one year. Normal living conditions apply when performing this test.

We are certified to perform testing in mulitfamily structures.

Airtech will install a radon mitigation system according to the PA DEP standards.  Once the system is installed and operating properly,  we will provide a radon test to ensure the levels are at an acceptable level.

Also referred to as a builder installed pre-piped system.  We will complete the radon mitigation system partially installed by the builder. Once the system is complete and operating properly, we will provide a radon test.
